OhMyGod, I created this post completely by mistake and now I can’t get rid of it! Read the one below! Ignore this one! Sorry!

Ok, since this is up, here’s my question: Is it inappropriate to impose a 5:30 bedtime on my kids today? Because, really? I could go to bed right now.

LMAO – that happened to me once…. someone actually commented on my blog because they knew what I was trying to post. That video of the kid Charlie biting his brother.

Anywho, if you go to your edit mode… scroll all the way to the right and you will see the delete function.. it isn’t visible until you notice that you have to scroll to the right… at the bottom.

But won’t your comment look weird then, all by itself? Or will it be deleted too? In which case, won’t that be censorship? I don’t know if I can do that to a fellow blogger! But I’ll edit my “post” a little! Thanks!

I will not mind if you delete my comments…. 🙂

(this blogger account program is very cumbersome….)

now this blog is stuck on my igoogle…

I was just reading a blog on our newspaper – people complaining about train horns. I commented (not visible yet) about the noise in NYC. Do people complain that much in NY?

Nothing wrong with a 5:30 bedtime. Am considering it myself.

I feel exactly the same way. Bedtime cannot come soon enough.

Hang in there!

Have you tried making it into a game and telling them they live in Europe in another time zone just for the night?

I have actually changed the clocks before so the kids went to bed earlier and/or slept later. Sometimes a girl has just gotta sleep.

Pull ALL the curtains. Change all the clocks when they are not looking. Send them to bed! 😉

Melissa and Carrie–thank you for the solidarity!

Neil-that game would go really well with my “it’s 5 pm somewhere” cocktail hour theme!

Insta-mom and Beth–isn’t changing the clocks kind of labor intensive? I tire easily!

Anymommy-I’m updating my Amazon wish list!

Marmite breath (lol, btw)–I KNOW!

I say go for it. Sadly my kids’ internal clocks are way too finely honed for that to work, but I’d love to live vicariously through you. My daughter? She falls asleep at 10:10pm every single day. It doesn’t matter whether I start trying to get her to bed at 7:30 or 9:30, she falls asleep at 10:10. I don’t even bother trying earlier anymore, all it accomplishes is to ratchet up my aggravation to “oh god mom’s gonna have a stroke” levels.
