Coming Home

by Marinka on August 21, 2012

I’ve been on vacation.

In Montana and in Yellowstone.  Which is mostly in Wyoming.

We had a lot of fun. There was the white water rafting, and the fly fishing and the eating more meat than I ever knew existed.

We also hiked and avoided bears and saw elk and bison and geysers and wonders of natural beauty and OMG, I miss NYC so much. I miss the crowds and asphalt and the smell of urine on the asphalt.

And I’m so ready to come home.

And maybe he is too.

I can’t believe you’re still a mother. I thought there was a law against that? I love you for bucking the system. Or bor fucking the system. Whatever…..

All that dirt with no concrete underneath it. I feel his pain.

Well done! Take ’em on vacation until they can’t wait to get back to dirty, crowded NYC. Well played.

Coming home is so sweet, until you see the laundry pile, the mail pile, the voice mails on the phone pile,..

Glad you had fun and adventure and close call adventure.

Yeah, I had to divorce my 1st husband because all he wanted to do was hike in the woods for weeks on end. This husband is much better. So is my house in the city.

Aww. Maybe someone can pee on you to make your sense of smell feel better?
