Great News!

by Marinka on October 19, 2011

Hey, remember when Young Ladrinka was studying the Digestive System? Well, great news! He did really well on his Digestive System quiz!

He got only two questions wrong.

Unfortunately he confused the location of the liver and the stomach.

Oh well! Close enough, I say!

But we may still get a doctor in the family.

My daughter wants to be a neurosurgeon. She heard that they get to use saws and since she really likes woodworking, she thought it would be a good career choice.

And now, for a limited time, Motherhood in NYC readers can get a discount on neurosurgery that involves sawing their head! Hurry! Offer ends soon!

A woodworking neurosurgeon – I’m impressed. I think John Hopkins uses the same methods.

Congrats on being a Top Twitter Mom!

Congrats – you need to write about your award in their baby books…things our mother’s could not proclaim in 1975. Also I do need a little brain surgery if she can fit me in.

I saw Contagion today. (small spoiler!)
One of the great things about it was when they start to dissect Gwyneths brain by peeling back her forehead.
Next time I watch I’ll look for the saw.
I love a good plague movie.

Fly her over to Belgium, I know some people who could benefit from a lobotomy

My boys want to be pro athletes. Good thing. They faint at the sight of blood, so doctor is definitely out.

Well, this works out perfectly, because this is EXACTLY the kind of procedure now covered by my insurance.

I’ll speak with your receptionist as soon as your office opens, say, noon-ish?

It’s a shame she couldn’t save Frank a few days ago. Oh, that procedure would have…

You should have been higher on the list =)

I could really go for some neurosurgery. Can she get rid of the part of my brain that remembers my parents? I’ll pay extra.

Congrats, Marinka. (Also, you’re supposed to thank God and your husband or else everyone will think your marriage is on the rocks).
