Motherhood in NYC: Best of 2009

by Marinka on December 26, 2009

I read this quote by F. Scott Fitzgerald on Twitter that said something like that using an exclamation point is like laughing at your own joke.  Personally, I think it’s totally fine to laugh at your own joke, because it’s not like Zelda was going to laugh at his!!!!

Continuing my new tradition of stealing stuff from other bloggers, this week I’m tipping my hat to Jill from Scary Mommy who did a Best Blog Posts of 2009 post and totally ripping her off.

Hers are great.  And here are mine:

January

Cat Adoption is Not for Pussies before we were blessed with our beloved Nicki, we had to get Husbandrinka to agree to get a cat.

February

If My Family Read My Blog sometimes I have mommy blogger aspirations.

March

I’m on Vacation! And a Segregationist! But in the best possible way.

April

Represent Husbandrinka is in Paris and the kids and I are cleaning the apartment.  Totally Fair! And Fun!
May

Message from the Universe. And Pixar.  So apparently, I’m the only one who thought that Russell in “UP” had Down Syndrome.  Yes, just me and 10 million people who landed on that page by googling “Does Russell in UP have Down Syndrome or is he Asian?”

June

Anne Frank, A Supermodel and Me.  My brush with Twitter fame.

July

Fear of Dying Real Simple is my favorite magazine.  Ever.

August

Update from Vacation I go on vacation and take the Titanic.  I mean the ferry.

September

Street Rules I teach my daughter stranger danger.

October

Brow Beating Mama gets her eyebrows waxed. And teaches me how to say scrotum in Russian.

November

Happy Thanksgiving! Your Manners Suck! Do you cut with your right hand and eat with your left?  Because if so, you are either a caveman or European.

December

Hey, the month isn’t over yet!  I’m sure there’ s masterpiece right around the corner!

Totally stealing this idea.

And, is it stalkerish that I’ve already read all of your posts? NO? Good.
