This weekend my 13 year old daughter, Young Ladrinka and I are leaving for a weeklong trip. Just the three of us. Without Husbandrinka or my stepson.
This is the heartwarming conversation we had at the breakfast table this morning.
Me: I’m so glad that we’re taking this trip together, just the three of us. I’m really looking forward to it.
Teenage Daughter: Me too, except I wanted to go by myself, so I’m sort of bummed that I’m going to have two extra people dragging along.
