Travel Plans

by Marinka on November 7, 2010

After yesterday’s wrist-slasher of a post, I thought we needed some cheering up.

So, absolutely free of charge, I present the Bonus! Sunday! Post!

My daughter is studying the solar system in science, and her planet is Mercury. I mean that’s her assigned planet, not that she owns it now. Although with Christmas and Hannukah around the corner, who knows!

Anyway, they have to make travel brochures for their planets and this is her brochure cover:

Hello, Mad Men! Watch out, Madison Avenue!

God, I love her.

That just made me spit-laugh. Talk about truth in advertising.

I’m sitting here thinking of all the states that could use that very same tagline. She’s gonna be rich, that girl.

Brooklyn Bridge for sale is logical next. Ladrinka will have to borrow money from her.

brilliant: this way, when we arrive on mercury and our head doesn’t immediately burst into flames, we’ll be ecstatic. she should work for NASA.
