Young Ladrinka was explaining to me that anything can be dangerous.
“Really, mom.  Danger is everywhere, so you shouldn’t worry.  Like you think guns are dangerous, but a bullet can actually miss you because you can jump out of the way.  But  other things are dangerous.  For example, cutlets.  You see a cutlet, and you’re like “oh, a cutlet!”  But you could slip on a cutlet and fall down and maybe break a bone.  See? Dangerous!”
Next summer he’s getting a  job with the NRA slogan writing team.  Guns Don’t Kill People, Cutlets Break Bones.

Why not put him to work this summer? Talent like that shouldn’t be wasted.
He’s brilliant!
like a chicken cutlet?!! LOL! That’s hilarious. Although the idea of slipping on a squishy cutlet does make me twitchy. I love little kid logic
So, is young Ladrinka agains cutlets now? tell him about the dangers in burger & fries. 😀
I love that he even knows the term “cutlet”. Has Young Ladrinka been watching Martha Stewart again? Rascal.

wait until he learns about breading. and that it’s really easy to accidently spill, say, Comet or rat poison or something in the breading before you serve it to, say, your boot camp drill instructor.

I have just developed an irrational fear of cutlets and will be issuing adequate warnings to my children: “Yes, you may go to the movies with your friends – but stay away from the cutlets!”
